Is your sliding door sounding more like a bag of spanners than a classic VW? Time for some fresh bearings!
This kit contains the bearings, guides and hardware needed to replace the sliding door bearing components on early T25s, helping restore that lovely smooth shhhhlunk instead of the usual GRRRR-CLUNK-SQUEAK.
Fits early sliding doors up to VIN:
WV2 ZZZ 25 Z E H 175 000
If the 10th digit of your VIN is E or earlier, this is the correct kit.
Kit includes:
- 1 × Upper plastic guide block
- 1 × Middle vertical bearing
- 1 × Middle plastic guide block
- 1 × Lower vertical bearing
- 1 × Lower horizontal bearing
- 1 × Felt seal
UK-made bearings.
One clever improvement
The original lower vertical bearing used a plastic cover cap. Our redesigned roller uses a standard sealed bearing with two radial seals, so the original cap isn't required.
Better still, the bearing can be replaced separately in the future, rather than replacing the whole assembly.
Because even a 40-year-old VW deserves a door that doesn't sound like it's falling apart.
