We have been using these in our VW’s for a number of years- easily placed with the supplied tape to the dashboard in front of the gearlever- or equally within the cowling, and we run the external probe through to the outside/grill. It’s so easy to see both the interior and exterior temps while out and about! Plus the clock is extra handy!
