If you own a T25, you'll probably know about one of the vehicle's most common hidden problems...
Fuel tank corrosion.
It's not glamorous. Nobody posts pictures of it on social media. And it certainly isn't as exciting as a new set of wheels, a stereo upgrade or a fresh engine conversion.
But it is one of the biggest issues affecting these vehicles.
Due to Volkswagen's original design, mud, moisture and road grime become trapped on top of the fuel tank. Over time this moisture quietly works away, causing the tank to rust from the outside in. Most owners don't even know there's a problem until they smell fuel or discover a leak.
At best it's inconvenient.
At worst it's a serious safety concern.
So, as usual, we decided to overthink it.
Working alongside our partners, we commissioned an improved replacement tank design and paired it with the best seals available. Then we took things a step further and coated the entire tank in RAPTOR protective coating.
