A family-friendly chilled event that's part music festival, and part meeting point for lovers of Volkswagens, of all types, but particularly the Beetle and Camper.

Slaughter House Customs team have been on the road again and this time we found ourselves back at The Malle Mile for a second year running.

A three day exhibition celebrating all things motor bike, music and the great British summertime, set in the grounds of Kefington Hall. Romantically beautiful, it could be seen as an odd setting for such an event, but this isn’t just any old biker meet. Dispel the images of aggressive older men in full on leathers, aloft their bikes meeting in a field, the times have changed and so has the crowd. There may have been fields, and there may have been leather but they became full of tents, worn by families and full of people having a good time. What a weekend!

brighton & hove motor show

Brighton and Hove Motor Show returned for 2017. This years event was held at the Amex football stadium, hove for the 'Seagulls'. This years event saw thousands of people flock to the stadium all with a love of all things motoring. SHC featured a Major stand in the motorcycle and classic zone.

The idea for ‘The Malle Mile’ started when we tried to enter The Mille Miglia an infamous 1000 mile race through Italy – unfortunately, it was stopped in 1957 because it was just too dangerous and competitive. But the idea of hosting a non-competitive race to bring the moto community together was born.

The Mile is a celebration of motorcycling, racing, custom machines, music, British motorsports heritage and the British summertime. Join us to celebrate, race, exhibit, spectate and rub shoulders with those with a similar passion. Plan for a day at the races, bring the family, invite friends and polish your motorcycle for a day at The Mile.

100% BIKER  (4 page spread)

In November 2015, the Bike Shed motorcycle Club tentatively opened it’s doors on a 12,000 square foot venue across four renovated railway arches in the heart of its original home, Shoreditch, in Central London. The BSMC at 384 Old Street features a 100 seat cafe and restaurant, with bike parking on a private street for 60 bikes, along with a curated retail space, galleries for bikes and art, a barbershop and an event space, plus the BSMC’s offices, where four of the original Bike Shed show volunteers were joined by five others to run the events, website and club business, full-time.

The cafe/bar/shop/gallery is open to everyone – bikers, non-bikers, and the general public – but we do also have a membership scheme. This is partly for those who want to support us, and partly to help with our license, as we have an A3 “Restaurant” license. This simply means (like many London venues) we can only serve alcohol to those who are also eating something (order some chips, scotch eggs or similar). Members can have a beer without ordering food. We hope that over time the council will relax these restrictions, but the upside is that we can turn people away – as Shoreditch can be a zoo on a Friday night.

Back Street Heroes - the original custom bike magazine. The fantastic feature builds, 'How to' articles, rallies, shows, and readers' rides. In this magazine several custom builds are displayed and shown off for the public to look at. Our Enfield was displayed in a spread.
